Jose Murillo is an accomplished Regional Maintenance Manager with Greystar Real Estate, overseeing maintenance operations, compliance, education, and training across over 50 communities, totaling more than 10,000 units in New Mexico. With nearly two decades of experience in the multifamily industry, Jose’s journey began as a porter, working his way up to his current role.

Jose's passion for empowering and supporting teams is rooted in the values instilled during his military service. After eight years in the Marine Corps and multiple deployments to Iraq, he transitioned back to multifamily in 2011, joining Alliance Residential. His hands-on expertise grew through roles such as Senior Service Supervisor and Training Ambassador at Olympus Properties, where he served across New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and California.

Since joining Greystar in 2020 and advancing to Regional Maintenance Manager in 2021, Jose has been instrumental in leading training programs, offering critical maintenance support, and ensuring regulatory compliance. He is committed to delivering top-tier industry knowledge, covering everything from local jurisdictional requirements to national standards, and brings a unique technician-focused perspective to training. Additionally serving as the Certified Pool instructor for the Local Apartment Association of New Mexico.
